Jess Brauner is a fourth generation Idaho native--a graduate of Caldwell High School and the College of Idaho (now Albertson College of Idaho), where he received a B.A in Business Administration.

Jess and his wife of 20 years, Valerie, have three children: Rachel, Cole, and Paris. Jess is an avid bird hunter and enjoys antique cars, toys, and football.

Jess has been in the insurance business for 22 years, specializing in employee benefits and individual health insurance options and his career is notable for the many industry honors and accolades he's received. He was agent of the year with Standard Insurance Company in 1990; agent of the year with Regence BlueShield of Idaho in 1996, 1997, and 1998; and was selected for the President's Club by Blue Cross of Idaho in 2003, 2004, and 2006 as determined by volume, retention, and new sales.
